Of all the Saint Martin nightlife available, The Platinum Room has the absolute hottest dancers on the island. Located in resort area on the beautiful half-Dutch, half-French island of St. Maarten in the Eastern Caribbean, the club has girls from all over the world dancing and entertaining on stage. Surrounded by hotels, boutiques, restaurants, bars, night clubs, casinos and some of the best beaches the Caribbean has to offer, the club is a favorite hot spot for the tourists. Platinum Room is a very busy club and provides excellent opportunity to earn a lot of money. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Contract The term of the contract and the work visa is min 3 months and max 6 months. Extension of the work permit is not allowed. Dancers are required to leave the island as soon as the visa is expired and may obtain a new work permit after 6 months. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stage show Dancers perform topless pole dance. Clients usually tip well dancers on stage, and the girls keep all the money. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dress code There is no special dress code. Dancer's costumes and sexy underwear are allowed on stage. Dancers must change their outfits on floor at least twice per shift, to promote professional atmosphere. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lap dance There is no fixed salary. Dancers sit with the customers and keep them company between the stage shows, and sell lap dances to the customers. Topless lap dance is $20 per song, paid to the dancer by the customers, no touching Nude lap dance is $30 per song, paid to the dancer by the customers, light touching is allowed Dancers also earn commissions on the lady drinks purchased by the clients. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wages and Earnings Platinum Room is very upscale club and provides dancers with the potential to earn big money. During the active tourist season, between October and June, the average dancer earns a net of $8,000 - $10,000 monthly -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- House Fee Dancers pay a $50 house fee per shift and $5 of each nude lap dance. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Agency commission The club pays us a commission, dancers don't pay us any commission. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Accommodation and travel expenses The club provide accommodation free-ofcharge for the dancers (two girls share a bedroom), and free-of-charge transportation to and from the club. Dancers buy food at their own. Platinum Room does not prepay the airfares, each dancer should purchase round-trip ticket on her own. If the dancer works 3 full months at the club, Platinum Room will refund her 50% of the cost of the airfares at the end of the contract. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Work permit / work visa The club applies for work permit on behalf of the dancer at the local Home Affairs. The work permit processing takes 2 weeks and all the costs are paid for by the club. Once the work permit is ready, it would be mailed to the nearest Dutch Consulate where the dancer should obtain her working visa from. Dancers from EU don’t need visas to enter the island, but they still need a work permit to dance at the club.
