Dancers from Hungary, Czech, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, France, Germany and other countries from all around the world enjoy working at Solid Gold. Solid Gold provides highly elegant and classy style of operation at 4 distinctly beautiful locations: Zona Rosa: upscale Mexico City’s neighborhood filled with fine shops, fancy restaurants and popular night-spots San Angel: area known for its narrow cobblestone streets, upscale boutiques and many restaurants. Its a wealthy residential area as well. Puebla : historic city known as the city of Angels located about 100 km southeast of Mexico City Toreo: this location is near the Polanco area, a well-known and posh district of Mexico City -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Contract The term of the contract is 3 months with an option for extension. Dancers work both dayshifts and nightshifts, as scheduled by the management. There are 10 - 12 dancers working on dayshift and 20 - 25 dancers working on nightshifts. Solid Gold has very strict rules regarding dancer's behavior during work hours. The dancer is required to get acknowledged to and to accept the rules prior to departing to Mexico. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stage show The dancers perform stage show that lasts 2 songs 3-4 times per shift, as scheduled by the management. During the first dance the dancer wears a sexy dress and lingerie, and during the second song the dancer performs topless or striptease dance. The stage show is pole dancing. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dress code On floor : Dancers should wear long dress on the floor during working hours. Long black dress should be worn on Thursday. Pants and short dresses are not allowed. On stage: There are no special costumes required. Dancers perform in sexy lingerie, transparent dresses, shorts or pants. Platform shoes are required and boots are not allowed. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lap dance Lap dance (nude) is 1 song (3 min) and costs 220 pesos ($20) There is a soft – touching rule. The customer is allowed to touch dancer’s body but is not allowed to touch her breasts. The security guards the dancers very closely and strictly. All the dances are paid to and tips are given to dancers in form of tickets that the customer previously purchased from the club. Payment in cash is not allowed in Mexico. Dancer change her tickets to cash money after the end of the shift. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wages and Earnings Dancers are not paid salary by the club. Dancers get what they have earned from dances and tips The price of a dance is 220 pesos. Dancer is paid 150 pesos per dance, and the rest of the money is withheld by the club for taxes, commissions and reimbursement of the airfares. The average dancer earns net money about $1,800 - $2,200 and more per week, depending on her personal skills and appearance. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- House Fee Dancers pay a house fee of 400 pesos (2 tickets) per day. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Agency commission The club pays us a commission, dancers don't pay us any commission. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Accommodation and travel expenses The airfares are prepaid by the club, free of charge for the dancers, provided that the dancer works in the club for 12 weeks. If the girl wants to leave the club earlier, she has to reimburse the club for the price difference, based on $125 per week. For example, if the girl has worked in the club 10 weeks and want to go home, she has to pay the club 2 x $125 = $250. The club provides the dancer with free-of-charge accommodation in apartments paid by the club, 2 girls share 1 bedroom. In case any girl doesn’t want to have a roommate, she could live in a single room in a hotel at her own expenses. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Work permit / work visa If you are coming from a country that is visa exempt from Mexico, you may work as a dancer in Mexico for a period of 3 months on a visitor's status. If you wish to work longer, the club will apply for work visa on your behalf.
